Scope

Work comprised of the realignment of a 300-metre section of Freds Pass Road between Beaumont Road and Strangways Road, Humpty Doo.

Works included;

• Sub-grade
• Sub-base
• Base-course
• Geotechnical conformance testing
• Seal/prime wearing layer
• Line marked
• Re-alignment of electrical overhead infrastructure
• Dryland grass
• Detoured road for all local users for duration of works.

AKJS provided the project management to the client, Lavercombe Grader Services (LGS), which helped to facilitate the project in its entirely for the delivery of the road re-alignment and all associated works.

We worked with Arafura Traffic Control to implement traffic management plan and ensured traffic control devices were correctly placed/installed and positioned on a daily basis.

AKJS self-performed the delivery and managed the relocation of electrical overhead infrastructure, concrete works, culvert works, head walls, topsoil and grassing and road sign installation for this project.
